THREE LOST GIRLS
These three little babies weathered the storms of Charley and were dumped in our SUV. We are thankful they did not die from heat as we are unsure as to how long they had been in there. We heard our dogs raising a fuss last night but saw nothing but are hoping that is when they got dumped in there. They appear to be about 12 weeks old - and are all females. They were full of ticks, fleas, dirt and worms but have been treated for all of the above and are now peaceful - full and sleeping in a kennel. Warm and Safe and in a week or so looking for homes of their own. If you are interested in any of them please contact pdorsey@sanctuaryanimalrefuge.org

Our little girls were adopted during Frances - a great hurricane story. Heidi and her family had filled out the papers and were approved - at the beginning of Frances Heidi called and I fell more in love with this woman - she was worried about her little girls and her and her husband and son made the trip up here at 10:00 p.m. to take them to safety. Such dedication and commitment to these little girls let me know this was the right decision. We are awaiting pictures to share.
I did get an e-mail from her as follows:
