A little boy looking like a bat found his way to the Sanctuary with deformed legs from Ricketts
Full of kisses and love he won the heart of everyone

I was dumped at the shelter but soon had wormed my way into the heart of my Auntie Betsy who wrote an email to my mom and asked if she would be my mom. She said oh yes of course I will isn't he so beautiful. Well I was in heaven - two woman telling me how beautiful I was. Auntie Betsy took me to her house to stay there so I would not get sick in the shelter and then mom came can got me. I had ricketts - and it made my feet and legs really funny and sometimes it would hurt to walk. Well when I got to my mom things began to change. I have a very special diet that includes real meat and fresh pet and nutrical and bananas and green beans and carrots and then she sticks little round things down my throat (I do not like that at all. Then I had to go swimming in the tub. That was kind of fun, I liked it the best when mom got in with me. Soon my legs were getting better and I could get around better. Mom says she loves the little white line on my nose and my little white beard which has faded a little. She says I am handsome. In a month I was allowed to go into the puppy kennel and play and in two months my legs were straight. Because I was not fed right I will never be very big as I am five months old now and only weight 23 pounds. But I am cute and mom says she prays that one day I will find a home. I hope so to. I would hate to leave my friends but I would so love to have a family that had me all to themself and I did not have to share with so many animals like here. I am a chunky bundle of fun as you can see below.
