Monthly Newsletter June

On May 19 we came across a place where there were

over 300 animals that needed to be rescued.  The owner

had done his best for over 20 years to help as many of

the animals that were dumped at his place. He passed

away a short time ago and there was no one to tend to

the animals.  The Sanctuary as well as others gathered

up as many animals as they could and some are on our

adoptable page.  Others were taken to other rescues

so that they could be spayed/neutered and placed in

homes.

This hen and her babies as well as the red hen were some of the animals gathered.  They have found a home at the Sanctuary with the other chickens and ducks that have been rescued.

This wolf-collie mix and Australian Cattle dog are two

other dogs that were rescued and are both adoptable from the Sanctuary.

On June 26, 2004 the Sanctuary will be offering a free clinic to the residents of Montura.  We thank all of those who donated time, products and well wishes for this project.
