Anjou is the new Ambassador for the Sanctuary. She attends the adoption classes to show people how to train puppies and will be visiting schools and join us in our presentations regarding rescue. We have been blessed to have received such a star in our presence and look forward to her being with us for many years.
Here are some of Anjou's friends, from Brigit an older mixed girl that was dumped at a shelter after years of service because she had a skin condition and thankfully the freezer there broke so they could not put her down, to Monet another senior from the same place who served his owner for 12 years only to be dumped after he had a stroke, to the ferret and Mareve her frenchie buddy who loves to make messes, Anjou has come into our hearts and definitely left a pawprint. Just like her grandmother who once crossed our gates and is now in her own home, Anjou is here to stay not leave and to help us educate and reach out so that we can continue to do what we do. I love and thank the angel who once let Pecan cross these gates and then truly blessed me with Ma'Petite Anjou as my own love.
