Annie and Babies

Annie delivered her pups at Animal Control. She is weak, emaciated and yet a very good mother.  She had 12 puppies.  The Sanctuary said they would take her so that she would have a chance.  Sue, who is an angel herself, agreed to foster them so that they could have 24/7 care.  Annie is the best mom and tries to do everything for her pups.  Sue has been supplementing Annie's milk with formula to try and help out.  Sue also has a little GSD pup that she is fostering who has a shoulder injury.  Just like Sue to help all she can.  I get daily reports on Annie.  We think there are six boys and six girls.  We will post pictures as soon as we can.  Sue  not only is fostering this group of dogs but also was instrumental in our gulf trip - both in getting donations and making the trip up there.  She fostered  several of those dogs as well finding them great homes.  Annie has a respiratory infection and is struggling with that and still trying to be a good mom.  If you would like more information on Annie and her pups please contact Sue at riptidebich@yahoo.com or Palena at pdorsey@sanctuaryanimalrefuge.org
