Lady Belle

Lady Belle was in Orange County Animal Control.  Veronica who used to volunteer there and then moved to California sent out a plea.  No one answered.  Veronica sent out several more.  Finally we agreed to take her and are we ever glad we did.  Belle deserves a chance a life.  She is older but not ancient.  She has been bred too much and has two mammary tumors.  She is infested with era mites and has an ear infection.  Her teeth need fixed but aside from all of that she is a loving girl and is totally housebroken.

Magrit of Inverness Humane Society has offered to have her vet do the surgeries on Belle to make her better.    Belle is so emaciated that we are trying to put some weight on her and get her as healthy as we can before we have the surgeries done.  We are also hoping for donations to help ease the cost of the surgeries for Inverness.  If anyone would like to help with Belle please contact BouvierRescueo4@aol.com .  This is Inverness Humane Society and Magrit can tell you how to donate.  We plan to take Belle up there in Janaury to spend a few days and have her surgery.

Belles body may look like death warmed over but her eyes beg for love.  She goes to the door to go out to potty and loves to rest her head in your lap.  Chris Murphy transported her to us and fell in love with her.  When I met with Chris and Belle he was taking her for a walk and loving on her and she was jsut eating it up.

We brought her home and began treatments including a bath - a dip and lots of fungus medications for her skin.  Below you can see her and see how skinny she is as well as the biggest of the tumors in the middle picture.  She is a love and deserves to spend the rest of her life in a home that will see the beauty that we all see.
