Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face
with slobbery puppy breath … and felt the love,
Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms …
and felt their pain
Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog …
and felt their wisdom,
And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes
that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you
humanely let them go,

![]() Please take the time to read about Special Ed and Milagra and help them stop Animal Cruelty The story of Special Ed and the story of Milagra are abuse cases - something we must all get involved in to stop. Milagra's pictures are graphic. She truly is a miracle and maybe the shock of what happened to her and many others every day will help us join in stronger laws for animal abusers.

Hi my
name is Daisy, Daisy-Head-Mayzie Herndon. And i am a 1 year old maltese i was
rescued by sancuary animal refuge from a puppy mill.and i am going to tell you
my story. It was a muggy rainy day when Natalie came to Dr.Beths house to help out with all the other rescued dogs i was all wet and dirty. Natalie picked me up and gave me a kiss and said i was perfect even thought i have a rat tail). I had never been told that. Natalie gave me a bath and held me in a towel untill i was dried. I fell asleep and when i woke up i was at Natalies house she was babysitting me. The next day we whent to Pets Best to all go up for adoption.there was 2 pugs, 1 pekines, 1 papillon, 1 coker spaniel, a lassie dog, an me. I was the first Natalie adopted ,Then onix one of the pugs was adopted. I whent home with natalie and we started my training. Now my rat tail is all grown out, I have a big wordrobe, my big brother pierre hes a schnauzer natalie big momma carol and bigg dad scott.Oh and i have a liitle brother his name is toby hes a rabbit. Well thats my story. And remember never buy that cute puppy in the window and never buy that pretty rinstone callor at the same store because either way your supporting a puppy mill. Because that cute little puppy could have defects interal parasite or other problems. ~Natalie Herndon and Daisy-Head-Mayzie~ This email hit me hard. It is from a young girl who volunteers time with us - she fell in love with Daisy and wanted to adopt her and has worked to earn her. Out of the mouth of babes they say. How can anyone not hear what she is saying. I did not correct spelling as this was written from the heart and the message is very clear. Please help us rescue these dogs. If this young girl can see the importance of it all we hope others can. What she says is true. If only grownups had the wisdom of the children. |

Harmony and peace in animals is much different than Humans.
They care not of color or breed - only in the content of their souls. Too bad people cannot learn the same.
